Utah Summer 2015

This summer I had the unique opportunity to go to every Temple in Utah. It was a goal Maryn (My friend from Texas who has been called to Utah, Salt Lake City Mission) and me set at the very beginning of the summer. After yesterday I can say I accomplished my goal. I got more than I could ever expect from this experience. This goal has helped me understand the importance of Temples. The spirit I have felt in each one is indescribable. I know that the blessings that come from serving in the house of the lord are without number. I am so blessed to have had this opportunity to serve my savior in the House of the Lord. I love the temple, I love Christ's Gospel, and I love that I will be able to share it with the people of Costa Rica in just 49 short days!
Below is a picture of me with all the temples in Utah!

You Report In 70 Days!

August 5th

It is really hard to know exactly how to prep for a mission. You have to prepare physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. But that's just what they tell you. And what does all that really mean? How do you really prepare to give up a year and a half of your life in a foreign country. Well honestly I have found that you can't be prepared. You can try to make the transition easier. In the end there is no right or wrong way to prepare. Once you are out in the mission field, if you're humble, the lord will make you into the missionary he needs. So the best thing you can gain before your mission is faith and trust in Jesus Christ. That will be your best tool in the field. This Blog is going to be a way to keep all my thoughts and notes about what I did before hand to help the transition to mission life. The next couple of post will be recaps of the last two months. In the end I can't wait till the day that I can officially put on that name tag, to become
