Happy Thanksgiving!!
HAPPY THANKS GIVING!!!! Fun fact. I forgot about thanks giving... till this lovely member called me and said WHAT ARE WE DOING TONIGHT?? ITS THANKS GIVING?? and im like WHATTT??? and so she made me a mini thanksgiving meal and I basically almost cried. It was so good and I was think of all of you at home hoping that everyone was so greatful for this year. I know I am!

Changes
Well I have like no time to write cuase I spent all day traveling yesterday but Next week ill write more. It was just a bunch of good byes and tears and Lots of great memories. Changes are hard but every change in life is good. They are chances to learn! I Wish everyone a great week!
Im now in La Rita with Hermana Matamoros shes from Honduras and we have the same time in the mission. actually we leave together so shes super cool and Ive known her for a year! Thanks for everything!

Days or Weeks?
Wow so every day this week felt like a week. It was just a party none stop.
Monday we made Donutts to say good bye too my best friend here in Perez. Laura. She has really changes my perspective on so many things. An amazng member. That is just so powerful in her faith. And well she cooks well. so that was a good biter sweet moment. Shes diching me to go travel central america so I probably wont see her before I leavve perez.
Tuesday I found a lizzard thing outside and decided to make it our pet during district meeting. It was just so small I had to carefor him. Well after the meeting I Think he was dying cause he turned white... not really sure. RIP little friend
Then we had a date to go cooking with a less active and we had to go buy Queso. But like it was flooding outside. So we had to Cross a river practically to get this cheese and we showed up SOAKing WEtt!
So one of my favorite families in all the world just got back from Honduras cause her son got married. SO his new wife taught us how to make Food from there. Needless to say im a pro at making tortillas de la mano. Basically Latin. So That was fun and we got to celebrate A birthday of Elder Valles. But he doesnt eat sweets so the cake is mainly for me.
Then I got to say goodbye to a member that lives really far away and has been so sick for so long. But let me tell you she has gained so much strenghth and faith from these trials. I saw her almost 5 months earlier but she was not the same women I say. She has grown through the challenges of this life. Helped me really thank God this week for the atonment in our lifes and the power it gives us.
Also she gave us 2 avacatos. the size of a small Ball. They were huge.
So As tradition for the guys in the mission at the 1 year mark they burn a white shirt. ANd here I am thinkin I can burn something. I hit 1 year so I wanna Burn something. ANd I did. A nice shirt skirt combo that has been torn and stained from 1 year in the mission. and well I did it. And it was crazy! SO fun and freeing. I felt like I burned the old me and started new with who the lord wants me to be. It was something so simple to burn some old clothes but for me I was letting Go of the Old me. Ready to move on and be who God wants me to be. Its amazing what he can do if we can give him our will and our love. If we can use the atonement with humility and really let him Burn up our sins. Burn up our Bad habits. Bun up the things we dont like. We dont have to bee the same. Thanks to him there are 2nd chances and we can always heal us. He can take away our pain and our shame and give us the strength to always keep going. Im so greatful for the atonement in my life and that he really will forgive us of our sin. A good friend of mine told me today
. God doesn't punish us for it as long as we repent, but we do lose that time we wasted on the eternal scale of things, in our process of becoming greater. SO say you spent 2 years away from increasing who you are, and start up again, the only thing you lose is those 2 years. He's so forgiving that he gives us back everything he can.
We can always progress. If we arent progressing in these moments its okay but your only loosing time. Cause if you repent today tomorrow you start new. He doesnt hold those things against you. If we repent with a true heart.
Well We celebrated the end of a hard week with pizza and ice cream. Fun fact my ice cream was just filled with likt frosteed flakes... thats was my dessert Ice cream with cereal... But like it was good.

Here was us doing service. We litterally live in a jungle. Its crazy. Service her is like Clearing land with Machete. its fun. But scary. And I always feel like someone is gonna get Cut...
But on another note I have the best Comp in the world! She decorated my Desk for my 1 year! Yay!
Sorry for the overload of pictures! Ill write more next week. miracles happened and we had 4 investigators in church this week. ANd one is the girl who is searching for light and happiness and SHe is finding it in Christ our lord. Great expereince this week.

Sorry for not writing last week!
Ive had a great 2 weeks with lots of meditation. Conference Changed my life. Personal favorites of the talks was Bednar. and Uctdorf from the Womens conf. But really all Sunday Afternoon just hit me like a ton of bricks. So powerfull.

So if you only have a little of time. Sunday Afternoon. Or Sunday morning if youve been living the sad life. It was good 2. Biggest kinda bam in your face talk (Which is usually holland was ´¨ to whom shall we go¿¨by Ballard. Loved it.
But really all in all im so greatfull to have a Prophet and 12 apostles today. Im Glad that God loves us so much that he wont leave us without his words. I know and testify that God is the same yesterday today, tomarrow and forever. He will always call a Prophet. If God talked through Prophets in the olden days why not now?
Heres another scripture to ponder as you think why you should or shouldnt go watch Gen Conf. like right now.
37 Search these commandments, for they are true andfaithful, and the prophecies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled.

So after the temple this week we got to go have an all girls conference in la casa de presidente. It rocked. We ate great food and talked girl stuff! I learned how to lead the music better and eat better and just to give my self a chance to grow and how to really focus on the mission and let the outside life go. Man it was a great conference with all women. Pretty special day!
1st week of the new change!
Okay so The new change started and Im still in Perez Zeledon with Hermana Mendoza! Love her and Love perez so no hay problema! We got a new elder who is supper cool and down for anything so its gonna be lots and lots of fun activities from now on. first off this week FLEWW by so im figuring ill be in a new area before I know it. The week was so patriotic! Which I love, for those who know me I love an excuse to dress up in themes and colors! This week my comp and I tried some colored mascara so of you can look at each photo and try and guess what color are my eye lashes haha! But definatly a good week! All the little kids were dressed up in un traje típico and they are SOOOOOO Cute! Here is one preparing to go dance! She looks like 18 but she has like 6 years. crazy
Also I Hit my 11 month mark in the missioN!! So we celebrated with Cake and Coke! which is the norm here! and it was sooo good! Crazy to think that next month ill have 1 year!! be ready for some fun photos!
And it was so fun and beautiful! Crazy thing is like we oke up to take the buss at 6am and it turns out it didnt leave tll 8 or already left at 5... sucks so we had to wait and play card and listen to morning mass. But we got there and it is a LONNNNGGGG Hike. But after ariving it felt so good! ANd on the way We say lots of animals and Peacocks" It was sooo Neat and fun!
Ill send lots of pics cause it was BEAUTIFUL!! and a member fam went with us and even packed us lunch. How sweet.
Okay heres a picture of the gang! Why are we wearing matching shirts you ask? cause there are 3 teamas in Costarica that like are most important. Im the opposite team then everyone else. But We alwasy joke that im for that team cause someone gave me a shirt with that team on it. So they gifted me the other teams shirt to try and change me. and it might have worked haha so we all ened up wearing saprissa shirts because they Forced me into one. But I didnt like it one bit! haha
Spiritual experience of the week.
We got a new investagator and man she has been through it all. I feel really bad. but she contacted us because she said I want to be happy I dont want to suffer anymore. we talked alot about faith and God and how his love is always here. And she Got so much hope and the spirit was so strong. I have faith that God can heal her completely of her traila of her burdens. because I can just see the weight of her heart in her eyes. after talking alot and ending the lesson her friend looked at me and said. How beautiful is she. (talking about me) he said she just has a light that just shines from her. Its so refressing. And our investigator looked at me and said I want that. I want to be happy like you. I want to have that joy. Im tired of suffering. ANd with that I felt just an overwhelming spirit from God. It made me think. that honestly the best way to share the Gospel is to just live it and be happy. I had no idea that just by walking around all day laughing and smilling with my comp that we could have such a big effect on someone who is now ready to change her life. all because she is looking for the something to fill the whole in hers. Its a hole that can only be filled but the spirit and love of God. And this Spirit, If we live worthy of it, shoul shine from us alt all times. How powerfull it hit me to think of how blessed I am to have the gospel in my life. to know the truth and to know that true happiness only come for obedience to Gods comandments. What a day that ill never forget. But PLease pray for Ester becasue she has a long battle to fight for this light. Thank you all for sharing your light with me always! Have a great week!
